Vision
Our vision is to deliver the knowledge and experience of our instructors not only to our students but to the whole society and improve the quality of the education using technological facilities effectively based on the basis of "Lifelong and Unlimited Learning."
According to this vision, we aim to prepare and present course materials used in distance education in a dynamic structure and within world standards, creating a competitive environment in this field, and to be a distance education centre that is able to lead and use the state of the art technologies.
Mission
Our Mission is to create new projects by watching the global needs and news in the field of distance education. Additionally, being a centre that is competitive, innovative, and open to research;
to organise the necessary seminar, training, and certificate programs for the students and instructors of Mugla Sitki Kocman University to be informed about the studies carried out in the world and Türkiye;
to decide the standards for all the courses and programs presented via distance education regarding the communication and information technologies, to provide the tools and develop the necessary infrastructure and environment; to ensure the coordination between the within and without of the university,
to ensure the reporting, assessment and prosecution of studies related to distance education at Mugla Sitki Kocman University, and carry out necessary update and improvement works according to the regulations of higher education,
and to be be an organisation that is innovative and capable of producing solutions in order for the individuals to overcome geopraphical, economical, physical adn social obstacles in their way of learning.
